The Slots n’ Play Casino is a bright, graphically impressive website. Right from the main page, I was impressed with how visually appealing it was. I did notice that it was a European based (Sweden) online casino but it was easy enough to play as a Canadian. I could play but it did come with its challenges.
I found the functionality to be a bit old school and not as fluid. While they have up-to-date graphics, they seem to be using older versions of technology for signing up, depositing money, and accepting bonuses. I do appreciate that when I went to deposit, there was a form that came up so I could easily set a daily, weekly, or monthly limit on deposits.
When you join Slots n' Play, you get an amazing welcome package.
You are in for a total of C$500 of bonus and 100 extra spins
The bonus package is divided into four parts as follows:
- 1. deposit: 100% bonus up to C$200 + 40 extra spins
- 2. deposit: 50% bonus up to C$100 + 20 extra spins
- 3. deposit: 50% bonus up to C$100 + 20 extra spins
- 4. deposit: 100% bonus up to C$100 + 20 extra spins
The welcome bonus is automatic when you deposit but I didn’t receive it. When I contacted customer support, they let me know I was restricted from receiving bonuses. This is from a conflict that happened about a year ago with another casino owned by Aspire Global International LTD. I wagered more than I was allowed to and was penalized. Apparently, I will have to talk to someone to make an appeal.
It’s a shame too because they have quite a fair wagering requirement at 35x the bonus. The bonus offered to me would have been multiple deposits with a total of $500 in bonuses plus 40 free spins. This could have been a good opportunity to accept the decent welcome bonus, playthrough, and withdraw winnings. What I found a bit annoying was that Slots n’ Play continued to offer me bonuses for depositing. That’s bad practice in my opinion. If I am banned from receiving them, why is the system offering them to me as a marketing ploy? Not cool.

There is a grand total of 1200 games with many of the top providers. However, my personal favorite providers with my favorite table games and slots were missing. I was a bit puzzled that they put so much effort into their casino lobby but seemed to miss out on the most popular games. The lobby was a bit too busy as well with useless titles sitting on top that were considered the most popular games. I had to scroll down beyond their suggested games to find the search bar. A plus here is that they made games available to play for free in demo mode.
The site wasn’t intuitive at all. For example, I had put a title in the search engine and forgot it was there. Then I was looking at different casino lobbies and none of them were loading. The title had remained in the search navigation bar and so no games were showing up. I know it’s a little thing but it represents the small annoyances of Slots n’ Play navigation and functionality.
Within the game lobby, they didn’t have additional means of finding games I liked other than browsing through them all. With so many slots, I found it challenging to look through. While graphics are mostly awesome, I found that the live casino titles had gritty graphics that just weren’t clear and crisp. Also, most of them were available in my region so the live casino was more or less non-existent for me here in Canada save for a few iSoftBet titles. All in all, I wasn’t super impressed with the game selection, the navigation, or the functionality of the games lobby.

Right away, I could tell that the mobile version had been designed for better functionality. When I signed in on my laptop, a form came up saying I hadn’t verified through my email. When I would check, I didn’t have a verification email. However, when I signed into the mobile version, it came up with the same message and actually did send me the email. I was finally able to verify my email this way.
The look was the same bright graphics. Navigation was improved here too. I could access the casino lobby from the sidebar and choose slots, table games, live casino etc. Games sat two on a line so it was still clear and easy to define the titles. I found that games loaded quickly and there were no annoying glitches while in the middle of gameplay. I found it easy to get to my account, make a deposit or talk to customer support.
I am not really sure if this was intentional but when I went to the live casino in the mobile version, the first few rows of games let me play. Further down the line were the games that wouldn’t allow me to play because of Geo-restrictions. It was set up differently from the desktop version and as far as I can tell, less intuitive.

I reached out to customer support via live chat and received an immediate response. My rep was really personable by addressing me by my name and letting me know what her name was. It’s nice that they go out of their way to create a rapport with customers. I wasn’t asked a bunch of questions to verify my ID so I could be helped, which I appreciated.
I was informed that I wasn’t eligible for the bonus because I was restricted from receiving them. This is actually an ongoing issue I personally have with the Aspire Global International LTD online casinos. Anyway, it was great that she so quickly let me know what the problem was and did so in a friendly, non-judgmental way.
Live chat isn’t always around so I was lucky to catch them. Their hours are 01:00 - 17:00 CST daily. I looked to see if there were other ways to get in touch with customer support but it’s just a live chat and a FAQ section. The FAQ section was easy to find in the live chat box.

KYC process is done to prevent underage gambling and money laundering.
They didn’t ask me to verify my account when I first registered. I did find the document uploader in my account section. I could easily upload my passport and bank statement. Everything was quite clear but in my opinion, it’s a bit overboard.
They have uploaders for proof of payment, which is hard to obtain as I paid with the MuchBetter app. They also had another uploader section for “documents that will be verified.” I guess this is a more indepth verification process that allows for special circumstances. When I went in the following day to see if my documents had been processed, they were nowhere to be found.
My uploads were automatically verified with a message that they may ask for more proof if necessary. This is the email I received when I requested a cash out:
“Your recent request to withdraw $30 from your account has been received and our team will review it shortly.
For the security of your account, you may be contacted and asked to send us documentation.”
The files I uploaded to verify my ID were never processed but they still let me withdraw.
Slots n' Play has multiple deposit and withdrawal methods available for Canadian players. Pick the one that is the best for you.
Minimum deposit and withdrawal are both C$10.
Although the banking process was good, there seemed to be a glitch when I went to deposit. I didn’t have an option for Canadian dollars. I eventually was able to find the Canadian dollars option and saw that they offered Interac. During the process where I didn’t have an option for Canadian currency, I used US dollars instead. There were credit card options, which I have found often don’t work as MasterCard not only declines online casino payment in Canada, they often flag my card too. With Visa, it’s touch-and-go and I didn’t want to take the chance. My best option was through MuchBetter, one of three e-wallets they offered for deposits. It was fast and easy.
When I was cashing out to MuchBetter, there was a message saying I could withdraw between $10-$30. I only had $30 left in my account so this was kind of a nice feature, letting me know my options for cashing out. I received a message that let me know I could keep track of the process in the “pending cashout” section. I received approval for my withdrawal request within 24 hours.
