The BET99 Alberta casino review covers everything you need to know about sign-up, verification, casino games, mobile app, banking, customer support and more. I found the experience solid, with 7+ banking options, 24/7 customer support and high-quality providers, but I hope to see a larger game library in the future.

BET99 Casino - Plenty to Like With Room to Grow
BET99 secured its AGLC licence in October 2026, just months after Alberta opened its gambling market to private operators. Although the casino wasn't exactly a new name to me, I was curious to see what it has in store for Albertan players.
BET99 is clearly a sportsbook at heart, but casino fans aren't forgotten either. I spotted around 700 games from Pragmatic Play, Big Time Gaming and Evolution. Slots and live dealer games lead the way, and the latter was the real standout for me, with around 420 tables on offer.
But what if you're looking for something beyond slots and live tables? Well, that's where the collection gets a little thin. With no virtual table games and only a few crash games, BET99 has some catching up to do. But here's one thing to keep in mind: I reviewed BET99 just days after it launched in Alberta, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more games and providers joining the party soon.
It's not all about the games, either. Simple menus and clear categories make browsing a breeze, customer support is available 24/7, and the cashier offers many local favourites, such as Interac, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, MuchBetter and bank transfers. The one thing that could use a little speeding up is the KYC process, as BET99 can take up to 48 hours to verify your identity.
Expert Insights - Strong Foundation, But Still Finding Its Casino Feet
BET99 scored points in my books for its robust live casino, friendly support, excellent banking options and fast mobile casino experience. I'd say it's a great match for anyone who loves sports betting, quality slots and live tables in one easy-to-use hub.
But let's be fair: the sportsbook is clearly the star of the show with multiple markets and events, including NHL, NFL and soccer around the world, and unfortunately the casino isn't as extensive. I'd welcome more studios, virtual table games, instant wins and progressive jackpots, especially since gambling in Alberta continues to evolve and players look for more variety.

Game Providers - 3 Reputable Providers
BET99 features games from 3 reputable providers: Pragmatic Play, Evolution and Big Time Gaming. While this feels quite a curated lineup, the quality is hard to miss. Pragmatic Play brings many evergreen hits to the collection, Big Time Gaming adds its own flavour with feature-rich slots and Megaways games, and Evolution creates top-tier live casino experiences.
BET99's game library sits at around 700 titles, including 270 slots. These numbers won't exactly knock your socks off, and it's actually one of the smallest slot selections I've seen in Alberta. That said, I wrote my review just days after the casino launched in the province, so here's hoping more games make their way into its lobby soon.
But enough about the numbers - let's dig in and see what the collection actually offers. I was happy to see Pragmatic Play and Big Time Gaming on board, which means you can enjoy a high-quality mix of games, themes, features and mechanics.
I spotted fan favourites like Gates of Olympus, Big Bass Splash, and Sugar Rush, brand-new slot releases straight from the oven, and popular Megaways slots like The Dog House Megaways 1000 and Buffalo King Megaways. I also noticed BET99 had teamed up with Pragmatic Play to put its own stamp on games like BET99 Gates of Olympus 1000 and BET99 Bonanza, which I thought was a fun touch.
I found my way around the lobby easily. You can explore categories like New, Featured, Hot, Jackpots and Megaways, or filter games by a provider. In my opinion, this works really well for a hand-picked selection like this. Sure, if the library grows, I'd welcome a few more filters for features and volatility.
One thing I wasn't too thrilled about is the lack of demo games. Personally, I love testing slots for free before putting my own money on the reels.
My personal highlights of the slot library:
⭐ BET99 exclusives add a nice signature touch to the collection
⭐ Handy categories help track down your favourite games
⭐ Lots of Megaways slots for those who love unpredictable reels and exciting bonus features
BET99 features around 45 jackpot slots, mainly from Pragmatic Play. If you love multiple prize tiers, respins and entertaining bonus features, you're in for a treat. I immediately spotted familiar names like Congo Cash and Mustang Gold, which was a promising start.
The games are neatly tucked into their own category, with a handy filter for providers. Otherwise, you can't narrow options down, but it's not exactly a collection you'll get lost in. As more games hopefully join the lineup soon, I'd love a few extra categories for themes, trending games and new releases.
Also, I'd like to see more progressive jackpots. Watching those prize amounts climb higher and higher is half the excitement for me. Now, I mainly spotted fixed jackpots, but perhaps BET99 has more up its sleeve once it settles into the Alberta market.
My recommendations - try these jackpots at BET99:
- Wolf Gold for its three fixed jackpot tiers: Mini, Major and Grand
- Wild Wild Riches Megaways for its changing reels and thousands of ways to win
- Joker's Jewels Hold & Spin for its retro feel and exciting respin feature
If you love live dealer games, BET99 is right up your alley. The casino offers around 420 live tables from Pragmatic Play and Evolution, with everything from blackjack, roulette and baccarat to poker, Teen Patti, Sic Bo, Craps and live game shows. Not bad at all!
I was especially impressed by the blackjack selection, which features 250+ variants, including Lightning Blackjack, Speed Blackjack and Free Bet Blackjack, just to mention a few. So whether you want to practice blackjack or bet big, you'll have many tables to choose from.
Beyond blackjack, I came across many familiar favourites elsewhere in the collection. Money Time, Crystal Roulette, Super Speed Baccarat and Three Card Poker all made an appearance during my review. I also liked that BET99 caters to different bankrolls and preferences, with dedicated categories for high-stakes tables and speed tables. You can also explore by game types and providers.
I tested roulette, blackjack and a live game show, and BET99 didn't disappoint. Games launched within 10 seconds, and the live streams stayed crisp throughout my time at the table. That's exactly what I want from a live casino.
My take on the live casino at BET99:
✅ Large selection compared to many other Alberta casinos
✅ 250+ blackjack variants, including speed blackjack and high-stakes tables
✅ Finding a suitable table is easy, thanks to clear categories
❌ I'd welcome more providers, like Playtech
❌ Not all games display minimum/maximum bets and the number of players
Customer Support - Friendly Agents Around the Clock
You can contact BET99's customer support via 24/7 live chat and email. This is always a plus in my books, as players are able to get help whenever they need it.
If you run into issues, don't overlook the Help Centre. I noticed it's packed with answers, from deposits and withdrawals to account management and games, meaning you might solve your problem all on your own.
I put the live chat to the test with a few questions about the games. Without even having to request one, I was instantly connected with a human agent who answered all my questions within 30 seconds. The friendly, personalized tone earned BET99 some extra points in my books. There also appears to be an AI chatbot, but I wasn't routed to it.
- Email support: support-ab@BET99.ca
- Live support: 24/7 live chat
- Phone support: N/A
Mobile App - iOS and Android Apps Available
If you're anything like me and love gaming on the go, you'll be glad to hear that BET99 offers a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android. If you'd rather skip downloading an app, you can easily access your account, handle payments, play games and place bets in a browser.
I tested the BET99 mobile casino on my iPhone. I must say the sportsbook wasn't exactly shy about taking centre stage. Sports betting is the first thing you'll see, but you can click over to the casino from the main or side menu.
From there, BET99 has made things easy for casino fans. Switching between live casino and slots felt intuitive, payments and account management were exactly where I'd expect them to be, and everything loaded without any bugs. New pages opened within a second, while slots launched within 3 seconds.
Of course, I wanted to check the app ratings to see what other users think. The iOS app has earned a respectable 4.1/5 from thousands of ratings. However, Android users seemed a little less impressed, giving only 3.3/5. I can't speak for the Android app, but you can always play in a browser if the app starts acting up.
Deposits and Withdrawals - Many Familiar Methods Available
BET99 doesn't leave Albertans short of banking methods. You can choose between familiar Canadian options like Interac, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Trustly, MuchBetter and bank transfer for deposits and withdrawals.
Deposits start at C$20 across all methods. This isn't too shabby, but BET99 could do a little better. I recently reviewed SIA Casino, which keeps the limits at C$10 across the board, and Play Alberta sets the bar even lower at just C$5. While BET99's limits are reasonable, I personally prefer a low deposit casino, as it makes things accessible for those who like to start small.
As for withdrawals, the minimum is C$20. Once again, BET99's limits are slightly higher than those at SIA Casino and Play Alberta. The good news is there are no transfer fees, which is one less thing to worry about when moving your money.
I've put together all payment methods at BET99, along with their minimum deposit and withdrawal limits:
| Payment Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Min Deposit | Min Withdrawal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| PayPal | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| Trustly | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| Visa | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| Mastercard | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| Apple Pay | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| MuchBetter | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
| Bank Transfer | ✅ | ✅ | C$20 | C$20 |
Withdrawal Times - Requests Handled Within 24 Hours
The average withdrawal time at BET99 is within 24 hours.
The casino says it aims to handle withdrawal requests within 24 hours, although my experience was faster. I made a deposit and withdrawal using PayPal, and the money landed in my account just a few hours after I requested it. I'm a sucker for fast payout casinos, so BET99 certainly gets a thumbs-up from me!
Total payout time depends on your chosen withdrawal method. PayPal is usually the quickest with its 2-hour processing time, while bank cards and bank transfers can take 3-5 business days.
I've rounded up the estimated processing times for each method:
- Interac: within 12 hours
- PayPal: within 2 hours
- Trustly: 1-3 business days
- Visa: 1-5 business days
- Mastercard: 1-5 business days
- Apple Pay: 1-3 business days
- MuchBetter: within 12 hours
- Bank transfer: 2-6 business days
📌 Expert's choice: PayPal gets my vote for its speed and convenience. That said, I usually recommend sticking to the same method for deposits and withdrawals, as it keeps things simple and makes transactions easier to track.
KYC - How to Verify Your Account at BET99
To prevent identity theft, underage gambling and money laundering, BET99 needs to know who's behind the screen. That's where KYC (Know Your Customer) comes in.
Profile verification starts as soon as you sign up. Upon registration, you're asked to provide your name, home address, date of birth, email and phone number. But before you can get into the real action, you'll need to verify your identity by submitting a few personal documents via your casino profile:
- Proof of ID
- Proof of address
- Selfie
BET99 can take up to 48 hours to process these documents, which is a bit slow to my liking. Having recently reviewed SIA Casino and its quick selfie verification, I know things can move faster. But once you get the green light, you can deposit, play games, place bets, and cash out without a hiccup.
Licence and Safety - A Range of Responsible Gambling Tools Within Easy Reach
BET99 is licensed by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC). This means it's a fully legal option for Albertan bettors and casino enthusiasts.
Like any AGLC-licensed gambling site, BET99 must take player protection, fairness, and responsible gambling seriously. In practice, your personal data and financial transactions are protected by encryption and security patches, and you're provided with 7+ responsible gambling limits.
I always recommend making use of the gambling limits, just to keep things manageable. BET99 encourages you to set deposit, loss and time limits when you sign up, but you can also head to your profile to set or adjust them later.
BET99 offers the following responsible gambling tools to help you stay in control:
- Deposit limits
- Loss limits
- Bet count limits
- Bet transaction limits
- Session limits
- Time-out
- Self-exclusion through Alberta's Self-Exclusion Program
If you feel like gambling is getting out of hand and the gambling limits aren't helping, I recommend reaching out to GameSense for more information, the Alberta Addiction Helpline at 1-866-332-2322 for free support or Gamblers Anonymous for peer-support meetings.
💡 Expert's tips for safer gambling: My main advice is to set a budget before you start and only wager money you can afford to lose. And if things don't go your way, don't increase your bets to chase losses.
